Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University staff greatly appreciates You for the support in training of qualified specialists in medicine, public health and pharmacy as well as for collaboration in the field of higher education.

On December 2-4, 2013 KazNMU is traditionally holding “University Days” aimed to attract medical community of Kazakhstan to the world medical science achievements and practice, to expand joint scientific and educational activities with foreign partners, maintain close University collaboration with the representatives of professional associations, employers and directly with the alumni themselves.

In this regard I have the honor to invite You and Your colleagues to take part in the international scientific-practical conference «Contemporary trends in the world development of medical education and healthcare. Possibilities for international cooperation«.

The world known scientists from Great Britain, USA and South Korea will take the floor on the first day of the conference. Two round tables with University partners and employers will be organized. The program on “Day of Faculties” includes more than 19 thematic conferences, 6 round tables, 3 master-classes, symposium in bioethics and the First Eurasian congress of pathophysiologists.   During the three-day-event various students’ arrangements, competitions, contests and exhibitions will be held in the university campus. The conference will bring together the world-renowned scientists from USA, Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Turkey, Georgia, CIS countries.

We look forward to meeting You in our university and continuing productive cooperation to train qualified specialists and improve education quality in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Professor Vikram Jha (UK)

          Head of Undergraduate School of Medicine, Honorary Consultant Obstetrician, University of Liverpool & Liverpool Women’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Since 2009 – member of Medical Education Advisory Group the Oxford Academy for Professional Health Education. External Examiner of King’s College London, Medical Schools in Peninsula and Sheffield. Successfully worked on implementation of a large number of national research grants in education, including INSPIRE grant from the Academy of Medical Sciences of Great Britain in 2012, 2013. An active participant of UK National Student Survey aimed to improve training programs.

 

 

 

Professor Joon-Shik Shin (South Korea)

Head of the Centre of Oriental Medicine «Jaseng» and «Jaseng» Medical Foundation. Winner of 7 drug patents. He was twice given the Republic of Korea President Award for Civil Merits, and in 2007, Dale Carnegie Foundation noted his activity by certificate «Leader of Korea». President of the Board of Korean Hospitals Medical Association (KOHMA), President of the board of Korean community for manual medicine Chung, President of the Board of Korean Oriental Medicine community for anti-aging, Vice-President of the Korean community for treatment of chronic diseases, a member of Korean Association Directors Council for the fight against drug abuse.

 

 

 

Professor Michael Z. Wincor (USA)

Assistant Dean for External Programmes of the University of Southern California. Certified specialist in psychiatric pharmacy. National expert of grant programs, consultant and lecturer in clinical pharmacology, insomnia problems.

Over the last five years, he was four times declared as «Professor of the Year» at the University.
