Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D.Asfendiyarov ,the oldest medical university in the Republic of Kazakhstan , celebrates its 80th anniversary this year. During this time University have trained 57 thousand of highly qualified medical specialists, working in Kazakhstan and beyond of our Republic.
Nowadays Kazakhstan is open to the whole world. Youth has all the opportunities for growth in different areas of medical science and culture.
Students and young scientists’ research work and encouraging them to become acquainted and interested in contemporary medicine are the issues of great importance in KazNMU.
In accordance with «The list of conducting the congresses and scientific- practical conferences for 2010» approved by the Ministry of Health, Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D.Asfendiyarov organizes the annual scientific- practical conference « University Days 2010» on December 2 , 3 , 4, devoted to the anniversary of the University.
We inform You, that the dates of the University Days 2010 are moved on December 9, 10, 11 due to the OSCE Summit in Astana, Kazakhstan on December 1, 2.
Preliminary « University Days 2010» Program:
December, 8 – check-in guests.
December, 9 – Faculties Day opens the University Days. This day 8 faculties of the University hold about 15 scientific- practical conferences, master- classes, seminars with participation of specialists from 20 countries of the world.
December, 10 — 80th anniversary Ceremony of Kazakh National Medical University and traditional Academy readings.
In the afternoon the 1st KazNMU Graduates Congress will be held. Organizer is «KazNMU named after S.D.Asfendiyarov Graduates Association».
December, 11 — final day, traditionally dedicated to students.
