The Department of Nursing was founded January 5, 2004 and its clinical sites located in the City Clinical Hospital №7, Almaty Multidisciplinary Clinical Hospital, the railway hospital of Almaty, City polyclinic №4 and №18, the district hospital in the village of Tau-Samal.
The department taught 6 basics and 5 elective courses for the four faculties, held 3 types of field studies.
Currently, the department has 9 people, including 3 PhD, 4 teachers of higher and 1 of the first clinical medical category.
The department reserved 2 candidate dissertations, published 5 teaching aids, published 85 scientific articles.
