The strategic management and development department is an independent structural division of «S. D. Asfendiyarov KAZNMU». The department was created according to organizational structure of the University from 01.09.2011, approved as the solution of the Academic council (The protocol No. 2 from September 27, 2011). The structure of Department includes the following structural units created on a constant basis as independent structural divisions of the University:
- Strategic planning department;
- System of quality management department;
- International cooperation department;
- The center of analysis monitoring of education quality and scientific medical education reform
Since 2011-2012 the director of strategic management and development department is
Tabaeva Aliya Abilovna
The main aim of the Department is:
1) research strategic development of the University according to the set mission;
2) a strategic objective of the University and vision;
3) coordination of its realization.
Department tasks:
Coordination of strategic development plans of leading structural divisions, management of the program of innovative development of the University.
Monitoring and coordination of activity of the University in the main strategically important directions of development:
- Coordination of conformity of strategic directions and the purposes of the University to strategic targets of region, the state and society as a whole, development government programs in an education sphere and public health services;
- development of a long-term strategic partnership with leading foreign higher education institutions, the educational and medical organizations, scientific laboratories, local authorities and the enterprises representing mutual benefit and interest for development of specialties and improvement of quality of preparation and retraining of experts at all levels of training
- the organization and assistance to other structural divisions in development of the long-term republican and international projects which are positively influencing a sustainable development of higher education institution.
Within the realization of goals and tasks, the Department realizes the following main functions and activities:
1.1. Coordinating and monitoring of implementation of the strategic development plan of the University;
1.2. The analysis and providing offers on development and further correcting of the strategic development plan of the University;
1.3. Control and the analysis of activity of leading divisions of the University on performance of strategic tasks of the University;
1.4. Monitoring of achievement of the planned actions based on the activity system indicators activity;
1.5. Management of the innovative development program of the University;
1.6. Increase of productivity of quality management system of the University;
1.7. Coordinating the work of faculties and educational departments on procedures of the international specialized accreditation;
1.8. Development of the international cooperation divisions of the University with foreign higher education institutions, the medical centers, funds and the organizations concerning activity internationalization;
1.9. Analysis and monitoring the education quality, scientific support reform of medical education;
1.10. The department realizes also other functions defined by the current legislation, internal normative documents and organizational and administrative acts of administration of the University, directly connected with realization of the purposes and the tasks put before the Department.
1.11. The department realizes the functions through the independent divisions entering into its structure, the purposes, tasks and which functions are defined by the relevant provisions.
