Dear colleagues and students!
To realize the State program of the development of medical universities of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, for 2016-20119, and to establish and develop strategic partnership of the KazNMU with the leading medical schools in the world the delegation from Duke University, USA will visit KazNMU on 23-25th of March 2016.
Duke University is a private research university located in Durham, North Carolina, United States that was founded in 1838.
Duke University School of Medicine is among the 13 best the world best medical schools(QS WU ranking by subject, 2015). Duke University is ranked 29th in the world by QS WUR in 2015-2016.
The programme of the visit consist of variousactivities. During the visit Lisa Bourget, the Director of Strategy and Partnership Development, Duke Medicine Global, MBA, Crista Gibson, engagement manager of Duke Medicine Global, MPP, will meet with Birtanov E.A, the Vice-Minister of the Kazakhstan and top management of KazNMU.
The strategic partnership will provide an opportunity to strengthen the position of KazNMU in the foreign markets, to ensure the quality of the educational process, to support research and educational activities.
It is planned to implement strategic partnership through the following basic mechanisms:
- consulting, 2) mentoring, 3) joint management, and in case of long term partnership, possibly 4) trust management.
