The department of communicative skills, basics of psychotherapy, general and medical psychology was founded December 24, 1994. Since the formation to the present day at the department is actively conducted research work. Employees of the department are involved in grant research developments, they produced more than 500 scientific articles, 3 collective monographs.
The department issued 10 monographs, textbooks, teaching development, three articles with impact factor, RINTS- 8, 1 protected PhD thesis IHEC (Russia).
The department carries out development and introduction of modern methods of personal mental health, psychological methods of implementation of vocational qualification for the medical profession, psychological, psychiatric and social problems of somatic patients.The department has 23 people, including 1 doctor of medical sciences, 1 PhD, 1 PhD and 20 Masters.
