Dear Friends and Colleagues from KazNMU,

As the Christmas and New Year holidays are fast approaching, I would like to extend to all of you my warmest wishes, and thank administration of the University for their tireless efforts over the past few years.
Thanks to the major achievements in a short period of time, KazNMU has gained an international recognition as a leading Eurasian academic institution.
Most of us have witnessed the progress in switching from old, rigid system towards continuous professional development and expertise-oriented biomedical education. It is especially gratifying to see the growth of scientific infrastructure in KazNMU, and appreciation of the role of science at the interface of education and practice. As a result, access to the leading scientific databases and regularly updated sources of evidence-based information has greatly expanded. The requirements for learning, training, researching and treating patients have adjusted to the needs of our times. A number of new departments and modules have been opened to meet the challenges of the ever-changing medical specialisation. The trilingual system of education has been endorsed and attracted many skilled, English-speaking educators from all over the world, who support the internationalisation and orientation towards competence — pillars of the development at KazNMU. It’s really a great honour to be associated with such an advanced academic and research institution!

The passing year was especially successful for this University and its fellows. Not surprisingly, many international congresses, educational and social events have taken place under the roof of luxurious halls and theatre buildings of Alma mater, deserving the rank of world top university.

The ideas of achieving high standards have finally come to fruition. Many, if not most, of the students and educators at this University have now clear understanding of where they are heading and what is expected from each of them.

I cordially wish you strong health, happiness and the best of luck!
May all your dreams and heartfelt wishes come true in the coming year!
