In collaboration with Quacquarelli Symonds Asia (QS Asia) KazNMU has held a QSXchange Seminar on “Strategies for the management and development of universities”, aimed at developing a strategy for marketing and branding of Kazakhstani universities, exchange of experience in the transformation of higher education and the creation of the world class universities in the Asia region, with the participation of 19 national and leading universities of Kazakhstan and the top universities in Asia: Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan; University of Newcastle, Australia; Amity University, India; University Malaysia Perlis, Malaysia; Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong; Ajou University, South Korea.
Following the international seminar was held a meeting of the QS Asia CEO Ms. Mandy Mok with the Minister of Healthcare and Social Development Ms.Duissenova and Vice-Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr.Balykbaev on the prospects of partnership of universities in Kazakhstan and the top universities in Asia, branding and recognition of Kazakhstani universities.
